Associating with a global sustainability not-for-profit initiative is matter of prestige.

We should not associate with each other for just visibility, credibility and/or financial gains.

You will appreciate that we have 11 criteria to be met to associate with each other:

  1. The sponsoring organisation should supports sustainability
  2. The sponsoring organisation should publicly commit to improve on their sustainability credentials
  3. No weapons, military or defence
  4. No obscene material that offends
  5. No non-renewable energy
  6. No illegal substances
  7. No cigarettes (including electronic/vaping)
  8. No prostitution & escort agencies
  9. No pornography organisations
  10. No sexual massage organisations
  11. No religious and religion initiatives (We respect all religions, but let us keep our association away from religion)
  • Increased brand visibility – Organisations & Individuals can promote themselves to a wide audience, creating a positive impression of your brand.
  • Enhanced reputation – Organisations & individuals can associate themselves with our prestigious as well as social cause, which can signal to customers and business partners that you are a socially responsible organisation/individual.
  • Product/service reminder – It can help remind customers about a product/service and encourage them to buy it again.
  • Improved public relations – Positive media coverage and press can help establish a business’s authority and brand awareness.
  • Networking opportunities – Charity events can provide a platform for building relationships with influencers, potential customers, and other businesses.
  • Community engagement – Supporting local or industry-related events can strengthen a brand’s ties with stakeholders and customers.
  • 80% of the donations we receive through sponsorship goes overseas.
  • 20% is spent in the UK on raising awareness and finding more supporters.

It costs £1 per student per year to sponsor with GSSS. There is no minimum requirement but most of our sponsors tend to sponsor 25 to 100 students.

You can select an institute, whose students you wish to sponsor. Alternatively, you can leave it up to us to match you with an institute where the need is greatest.

You can end your sponsorship at any time, for any reason, without causing any harm to your sponsored students.

Because of our unique approach, your sponsored student/s will continue to benefit from our investment.

Projects are designed to benefit all students registered with GSSS, whether or not they are part of the sponsorship scheme.
